Entering the Blog World

The Brouwers have entered the blog world! 

I have been thinking about starting a blog for quite some time now, but I just haven't taken the time to do so.  But, after really enjoying some other blogs, I decided to finally do so.  Not to mention, it will be so fun to look back on, as we do admire the small things about all the everyday happenings. 

So, with that being said, I will jump right in!

Carson is 15 months old, and is a busy little boy!  He just had his 15 month check up on Friday, and he is a healthy little boy.  He weighed in at 21 pounds, and 29 inches long.  Which, is 10% on the charts, but nothing to be concerned about.  The dr. said he is a little guy, but as healthy as can be, which is what we love to hear!  He also got 3 shots, which he wasn't very happy about....but he is tough little guy, and we survived.

Today was a big day for everyone.  Carson started a new daycare today as Jessica has started her maternity leave earlier than expected.  I was nervous about today, but only because I was nervous for Carson, not because of the caregiver.  She is wonderful, and they are a terrific family.  I think Carson is really going to enjoy playing with their 2 girls (ages 3 1/2 and 2) and a 5 month old little boy.  I was sooo excited to pick him up from his first day, and the smile on his face showed how happy, and how much fun he had there today!  Not to mention, the squeal that Carson gave me when he saw me walk in the door made my day, and it makes my heart melt every time.  He talked my ear off on the way home, and I really do think he was telling me all about his day.  He had a GREAT first day report, and it sounds like he is going to fit right in at his new daycare.  Carl and I are so happy we found such an amazing person to watch Carson.  It truly was an answered prayer.
