Mother's Day

Mother's Day this year was extra special for me.  I was now a Mother to TWO little boys, and I had so much to celebrate, and be thankful for.
I refer to the title "Mommy" from two little boys who are my world.  They are both so sweet, and I love them both so much.  I am so very honored to be their Mother.  I thank the Lord every night for choosing me to be their Mom.

We had a very busy Sunday this year celebrating all of the Moms in our life.  My Grandma Sally was home from Indiana to help us celebrate, and it was so much fun to have her around.  We also got to celebrate with the Amazing woman that I call Mom, my Sister, and Sister-in-law.  All of which go by the same title.  Mother.
Our little family skipped church this year, to prep for the brunch that was happening at our house.  We hosted a fun celebration, and had some great food.

A little run down of our grand day.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous, so we got to spend most of our day outside.  Fresh air is a wonderful thing.

Grandma and Mom opened their gifts from us:

We played outside:

Carson gave Natalie a ride in the trailer of his tractor, and she loved it:

We all enjoyed passing the new babies around:

After the festivities were done at our house, we made our way to my G&G Sents', where my Aunt Denise got to meet Weston for the first time.

Weston and I went to a graduation open house, while Carl stayed home with Carson so he could nap.  After Carson's nap, we headed to the park.  Carl asked me what I wanted to do that evening, and I chose the park.  I love to watch Carson have fun, and squeal and giggle as an indication he is having a blast.  He truly enjoys himself at the park, so that is where I chose to go.  This would be the perfect ending to an already fabulous day.
Carson and his Daddy have so much fun together at the park.  Carl is so good with him, and is such a great Father.

Carson's smile is contagious.  His giggle is music to my ears.  And the fun that he has is so much fun to watch.

This is our Wee Lad braving the merry-go-round.  Fact for the day:  I HATE merry-go-rounds.  Actually, anything that spins in a circle.  Silly silo at Adventureland?  Count me OUT.

Going down the slide with Dad is the best!

This picture of Carson makes me laugh.  He is going so fast, and just smiles and giggles the whole time!  Our Wee Lad is fearless.

This little guy is so much fun to play with at the park!  Doesn't matter how big or small the slide is, he is up for the challenge.  And usually displays a smile the whole time.

This would be a slide indicated for the big kids.  But of course Carson wanted to go down it.  And, away he went, with a smile the whole time!  No fear.  At all.

Now Daddy's turn!  Haha. :)

Weston really enjoys the park as well, as you can tell.  He is pretty go with the flow, which makes for wonderful trips to the park.

This would be the handsome man that has made me mothering our two great children possible.  A dream come true.

I had such a wonderful Mother's Day this year, and enjoyed myself fully.  I am so thankful for our two wonderful healthy boys.  Thank you, Carson and Weston for making me such a proud Mom.  You are my everything, and I will continue to strive to be the best Mother that I can be to the both of you.

Our Family; Mother's Day 2012.  Such a Wonderful day full of great memories!  Feeling extra blessed, and so thankful this evening.

  1. WOW! What a day you had - making memories and loving life. I so enjoyed the pictures showing delight on Carson's face for the fun he is having. And you are right: God chooses who he wants to care for his little souls and we are privileged to have them.
